In the 1980s, McDonald’s was a dominating player in the world of fast food, so they decided to expand into pizza. Despite configuring how to make a fast pizza for customers, there were plenty of issues. Snagging a pie was a pricey $5.99 to $8.99, large pizza boxes couldn’t fit through the drive-thru, and the prep time for a pie slowed down everything.
